035 Metallica - Metallica (1991)

 

 락계에 비틀즈의 '화이트 앨범'이 있다면, 헤비메틀계에는 메탈리카의 '블랙 앨범'이 있다.
 동명 타이틀이자, 뱀 한마리 달랑 그려진 이 시꺼먼 앨범은 대중적으로 메탈리카를 다이아몬드 디스크의 소유자로 만들어 줌과 동시에, 역량 발휘에 적절한 많은 히트곡들도 만들어냈다.
 개인적으로는 <Master Of Puppets>의 광팬이지만, '블랙앨범'이 없었다면 스래쉬메틀이 메이저의 총애를 받는 전대미문의 일은 없었을 것이므로 앨범의 가치를 납득한다.
 또 헤비메틀을 하려고 한다면 반드시 <Enter Sandman>을 한 번 이상 연주해 볼 것...
